CHAPEL (WEDNESDAYS)
The Chapel is a First Baptist Church Everman's Children's ministry program with Kid's Connection from 4:00-5:00 p.m. every Wednesday. The purpose of this ministry is to bring the children closer to God and to help develop Godly characters that will help them make the right choices as they grow up as brilliant leaders and good citizens of this generation.
This month we started learning about the 12 disciples in Chapel and last Wednesday we learned about James. We learned about his zealousness for Jesus. We also made our own clouds and thunder.
Memory Verses (Part 1)
Andrew, Sharer of Christ
- Those who lead many others to do what is right will be like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3
James, Full of Zeal
- If is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good. Galatians 4:18
John Disciple of Love
- Don't just talk about love. Put your love into action. Then it will truly be love. 1 John 3:18
Peter, a natural leader
- Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, You are the Son of the living God."
